About

The person behind the dashboard — and why it exists.

Why this dashboard exists

This dashboard exists because in this age of misinformation, both good and bad, there is no single dashboard which shows West Bengal — or any state — under one umbrella using data from various verified and government sources. That was my goal when I started building it.

The Kolkata City Dashboard came first; this site extends the same source-cited approach to all 23 districts of the state. Every chart links back to the survey it came from.

“The best way to complain is to build it.”

What I’m building

West Bengal State Dashboard

You’re on it. 19 domains, 40+ open data sources, 23 district profiles, demographic and economic visuals across the state.

The same approach, scoped to India’s third metro: ward-level Census visuals, daily AQI, 19 domains.
